Texas Predator and Varmint Hunts

With Texas having such high animal numbers from wildlife to domestic livestock, you can bet we have more predators than most any other state. A big part of game management is to eliminate your natural predators. You need to come help us with our problem.

Texas’s main predators are the coyote, bobcat, fox and mountain lion. The state of Texas allows us to hunt predators 24 hrs a day 365 days a year. So it will probably fit your schedule. This opens up a huge array of hunting techniques and opportunities for our guest, including both night and day hunts. Both hunts will consist of as many “set ups or sits” with electronic calls, mouth calls, decoys and spotlights. Not only will your kill be a great trophy, but you are helping us remove these killers from our ranches.

We conduct most our Texas predator hunts in the winter months, January through March. They are out looking for something to eat at this time and there are very few babies to prey on. You set up a call and they come running. Another advantage at this time of the year is that the leaves are gone from the trees. Picture yourself on a bluff in West Texas, watching a bobcat coming to you from long range. It will get your heart pounding! Book your hunt on a dark moon, because these predators are mostly nocturnal and they are easier to bag at this time.

All our Texas predator hunt packages are set up on 1×1 or 1×2 prices. 1 guide per hunter or 1 guide per 2 hunters. Typically we hunt with small flat shooting calibers from 223-243 and will often carry shotguns with full chokes and 2-4 shot, especially at night. General Information
For non-hunters, our daily food and lodging is $250. Transportation to and from Lubbock Airport is $375 per vehicle (up to 3 people per vehicle). Check-in is the evening before your hunt and includes supper. Check-out is after your last hunting sit.
