How Does Bluetooth work?
Bluetooth is almost like infrared, infrared sends signals only if it’s parallel to another infrared receiver so basically works in a straight line. What Bluetooth does is has a frequency that works in a circle, which also goes through solid objects, hence why you can any Bluetooth Device even if you are in another room. The Bluetooth Range or radius should I say is approximately 10meters average but can extend up to 100meters. People sometimes refer Bluetooth to like a radio signal with a band width of £2.45GHz.
The Bluetooth technology became very popular with the mobile phone market as it way of communicating and sending data from one phone to another and mainly using the technology to talk through a Bluetooth headset.
I remember at one point Bluetooth Headsets were one of the most expensive products to buy ever! They started at £60 and went up to a £100 and they did nothing but look better. The Quality of the Bluetooth headset stayed exactly the same and the price went up because of who it was made from (Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ercisson etc.
The Bluetooth Technology has developed rapidly for the last 10 years, now you can walk into any electronics shop and ask for a Bluetooth headset casually and it wouldn’t be a big thing.
How to Connect a Bluetooth Headset?
Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth mobile phones have only one hurdle to jump over, security. If a Bluetooth can access someone’s data or send data there is clearly a security feature that needs to be enabled to ensure somebody does not connect their Bluetooth Device to to gain data or to send data.
From Bluetooth headsets they designed Bluetooth Carkits, to Bluetooth Keyboards and to Bluetooth dongles and all laptops, PC’s even cars have already build in Bluetooth devices either to transfer data or to communicate.
